*In order to receive Wilderness First Aid Certification participants must commit to completing 8 hours of self study outside of program hours and they must pass a full day practical test given on the final day of the second week.
What is Youth Adventure Readiness?
Our goal is to use readiness skills and training to create future leaders. As we experience an increase in both manmade and natural disasters, we have to rethink how we educate and prepare our kids to thrive in challenging times.Using preparedness and readiness skills exercises and games, we welcome our youngsters onto the path of leadership through self-reliance and being capable of service to others.
By building confidence and the capability to be of service to self, family and community, we replace fear of the unknown with the desire and ability to be of use when it matters most. It's never too early to teach our youth to be capable and resourceful members of society.
